ASSÜCK Misery Index 1997

An anecdote follows about ASSÜCK:
I was slaving away at $5.85 an hour in 1997 working for the cheapest jerk in town at his oh so swanky record store. We sold a shitload of ASSÜCK LPs - yes, the vinyl sold more than the CD version did. An old man strolled in one afternoon, a chap I'd never seen before. He walked into the vinyl room and grabbed ASSÜCK and brought it up to the counter. Okay, that's a first, I thought! I asked him if there was anything else I could help him with and he answered with a curt "No!" He said nothing else, grabbed the record and walked out.
My guess is that it was a pissed off preacher who was going to take it to his next sermon, wailing over the devil corrupting kid's lives.
I never found out what this man's deal was or why he was so abrupt with me. He sure seemed pissed off. I did tell him to enjoy his record as he stomped out.

HIS HERO IS GONE 15 Counts of Arson

From Epitonic:
Yes, they're from Memphis, Tennessee, but don't expect any Elvis imitators; His Hero Is Gone's songs are powerfully incendiary blitzkriegs of fierce anti-authoritarian, anti-racist, anti-consumerist rage. This band harnesses a hardcore metal pathos that rivals Neurosis and Napalm Death, and like those bands, His Hero Is Gone's music serves as a vehicle for searing, declamatory, far-left social commentary. The music is brooding, primitive and, at times, almost crushingly heavy; the songs range from sluggishly slow to blurry fast, and they are short, incisive, and unapologetically caustic. Guitarist Todd Burdette does the primary roaring and decrying while his brother Paul pounds out propulsive drum rhythms, Carl Auge supplies the epic bass lines and handles the rest of the vocals, and Yannick Lorrain plays a searing razor-edged second guitar.

TOTALITÄR Sin Egen Motständare 1994

I just heard this band for the first time about 2 months ago and loved it from the get go. Totalitar is a political crust band from Sweden which formed back in 1985 and has released over 18 albums.

Aus Rotten "The System Works...For Them" 1996
The title of this release from Pittsburgh PA's anarchist punk band Aus Rotten (in German it means "to exterminate") is not any more true than today. Intense, angry and political, this band will never go out of style! The intro of this just slaps you in the face and makes you think, "What the hell are we doing to ourselves?"
In 2001, Aus-Rotten disbanded and some members now play in Behind Enemy Lines and Caustic Christ.
Because of donkeys like this:

We need Aus Rotten.
